today was a super busy day & I didn’t even get my
regular baby bird photos – so I will share with you my
neighbor Barb’s birds —
she has a mama mourning dove & 2 babies
residing in a hanging planter on her porch
————————————————————————————————-
I played volleyball last weekend & I am playing next weekend –
so THIS WEEK we did a “longish bike ride”.

(6.12.10)
Tom, Me, amazon Joe, Bob, Roy & Michael.
We rode 52 miles today – my longest ride this year.
It was a GREAT RIDE 🙂
That puts me at 413 1/2 miles year to date.
|
after biking we stopped at a Farmer’s Market.
I liked how you could buy the alpaca fur
& know whose fur you were buying!
this was Elliot’s fur.
(it’s probably really called wool?)
|
we were pretty hungry after all that biking.
we all compared our “calories burned” & it was
about 3000 so we decided we could eat
whatever we wanted……
We’ve been wanting to stop at Bowman’s Tavern
for awhile but we always forget about it.
It’s on our way home so this time we remembered.
|
i got the shredded taco special – it was VERY TASTY.
We liked the whole atmosphere, bartender & WILL go back.
Try it next time you are near New Hope.
|
—————————————————————————————-
later that night we headed over to our friends Greg & Joanne’s house
for a SURPRISE PARTY for Greg that ended up NOT being a surprise.
|
Happy Birthday GREG !!!!
