On my way to work I saw a gaggle of geese with some goslings
of course I needed a picture!
you know how obsessed I am with my birds!
I actually was able to get out of the office for
a brief time to run errands when I saw these boys.
There is a High School in town that makes the
“bad kids” wear these shirts when they are in trouble. |
the bluebirds are getting BIG. 15 days old.
they should fly the coop by next weekend.
momma Tree Swallow with babies 6 days old
the baby robins flew the coop but are not quite flying –
I hope they find safe hiding spots from predators
backyard tree swallows 4 days old
(all this record keeping is CRAZY – how OLD they are &
figuring out when they will fledge)
Stuck a feather in his TREE TRUNKS?
We were on our way to dinner & Michael wanted to check out this park nearby
where we were going for dinner (Bowman’s Tavern).
We saw these tree trunks with feathers in them. It looked kind of cool.
I snapped a photo.
relaxing with a Cherry Cosmo – pretty tasty
something I usually DON’T get but did tonight….
Grilled Reuben. it was good – I’m sure Danny will eat the
other 1/2 when he comes home from work.

You’ve got to be JEALOUS! I have a PEN PAL!!!
I “met” Stefanie through her blog
(http://somanybooksblog.com/2010/06/18/on-reading/)
and we have since evolved into pen pals.
It’s really kind of fun. You should try it. I recommend it.
It’s interesting learning about someone else in
a non-instant
(electronic) kind of way. I like it.

World Cup Kitty
always positive,
Helcha 🙂
http://helentdiehl.posterous.com/

Hey, I’m glad to see the puffy tiger remained on the envelope. I thought for sure after I stuck it on that the post office machines would manage to rip it off. The geyser is crazy and I love the world cup kitty!
I always get nervous about the "puffy stickers" too. I always wonder if they make it to their destination. btw I COULD smell the scratch n sniff Strawberry!
Excellent! I was wondering if that would make it scent intact 🙂
