October 22nd, 2010

Been wanting to try this restaurant for AWHILE.
It’s located in Titusville, NJ – about 30 minutes from Ivyland.
It was my brother Larry’s birthday this week so we
decided to try out It’s Nutts for the birthday celebratory dinner.
My co-worker Ray is friends with the owner so he arranged
a reservation that they normally don’t do. Thanks RAY 🙂

It Nutt’s — not a fancy place, but good food

kind of looks like an old-fashioned ice-cream place
on the side of the road

Booths & tables & outside seating too.

these were risotto fritters. I thought they were “ok” –
but everyone else really liked them.

sister Pat LOVED the roasted potato garlic soup.

after doing “research” and talking to people  – I was told there

are TWO things you must order when one goes to It’s Nutts:

the famous fried chicken & there tomato pie

fried chicken was pretty awesome.
I can’t remember the last time I ate fried chicken –
seriously, years maybe?
The cool thing here – is you can just order a couple
pieces & try it – you don’t have to order a lot.

The tomato pie was equally as awesome.
I like the plan – others liked the sausage.

homemade ice cream.
I was advised to get the banana chip but they didn’t have that.
We went with heath bar chocolate coffee &
pumpkin – it proved to be a tasty combination!

We liked IT’s NUTTS & will go back.

I think I’d stick with the basics – the fried chicken & the Pizza.

Others had dinners – which were good but not GREAT.

Overall – it’s a casual atmosphere & a FUN TIME.
