we started later than anticipated –
we rode 23 miles. better than zero miles 🙂
(that is 1144 miles ytd – 30 miles more to beat last yrs mileage)

Longhorn Steer.
I’ve been trying to get this photo all summer.
They usually hang way up in the pasture –
but I got a treat today with this one feeding
so close to the road.

Alpaca farm.
Same story as the longhorn — these guys are usually
WAY UP in the pasture & I haven’t been able to get
good pictures of them. I guess today was my day !
Who can tell me the difference between an Alpaca & a Llama???
(without googling it!)

I envy you the scenery on your rides! I love alpacas. They are smaller than llamas and cuter and they don’t spit at you!
Stef – We are SO SO SO Fortunate to live where we do. EVERYTIME we go biking I comment how LUCKY we are to live where we live. It’s truly beautiful – and we never take it for granted…… Alpacas ARE adorable!!!Very pleased you knew the difference between llamas & alpacas – many people don’t know!
