The King’s Speech
The King’s Speech
The King???s Speech was a GREAT movie.
I???m so glad sister Pat ???made me??? go see it with her.
The storyline goes like this:
It tells the story of the man who became King George VI,
the father of Queen Elizabeth II. After his brother abdicates,
George (‘Bertie’) reluctantly assumes the throne.
Plagued by a dreaded stammer and considered unfit to be king,
Bertie engages the help of an unorthodox speech therapist named Lionel Logue.
Through a set of unexpected techniques, and as a result of an unlikely friendship,
Bertie is able to find his voice and boldly lead the country through war.
I would like to let everyone know that this is an excellent film.
Considering the movie was two hours long it never seemed too long.
You never thought ???when is this movie going to end???.
On the contrary ??? you didn???t want it to end.
Watching the dynamics of the relationship develop
between Bertie & Lionel was quite enjoyable.
I don’t think you will be disappointed in this movie.
make the time to see it
Bertie & Lionel
