7/15/11 Taormina’s for dinner

7/15/11
Got home LATE from work, AGAIN!
Was tired, hungry & thirsty – not necessarily in that order.
After watching some cute guy win on Jeopardy & a recorded
LOUIE C.K. (funny show), Michael & I ventured
over to Taormina’s for dinner. They are not SUPER busy
in the summer so we got seated right away.

A bottle of white.  A bottle of red.
I didn’t know what I wanted –
white or red – so I brought one of each.

we started with CAJUN CALAMARI –
which is very scrumptious.

Joey Taormina – our server tonight.
He’s cute.

Michael made up his own dish —
lasagna topped with sauteed spinach

I had tonight’s special-
Baby arugula salad with red onions & tomatoes
in a lemon olive oil dressing with
shrimp & tuna Carpaccio —
i added side of scallops.

another special tonight was
Shrimp risotto in a basil pomodoro sauce with
a side of grilled scallops

pan seared swordfish with crabmeat
in a scampi sauce
