Sunday 8-14-11
We headed in to the city to do Final Furniture shopping for the basement.
I said to Michael if we didn’t find something today we would go to IKEA
& settle for what we found there – which I did NOT want to do.
Since we were going into town – Michael wanted to try this place he saw
on the TV show Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives

Inside was pretty much a regular diner
We tried their famous hot wings & they were pretty tasty
I had a breakfast burrito (for breakfast Sunday & Monday).
It was ok.
Guy Fieri is the host of Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives
so it was only appropriate he paid for our meal

We were ready to go furniture shopping —
our first stop was Grossman’s Furniture.
Michael trying out the sofa bed we ended up buying
& paying twice what I wanted to spend.
It’s totally cool – it has no mattress.
Who wants to be our first guests??
The bathroom pretty much rocks too!
We got this chair too – it was totally comfy
here is the fabric.
The couch will be solid with pattern pillows.
The chair will be the pattern with solid pillow.
AJ helped us furnish our house when we moved in 8 yrs ago.
He is SO VERY HELPFUL. Do you need furniture?
Go to AJ – he can help!!!
We tried this couch at another store –
wasn’t a fan!
Michael beer shopping for dinner guests coming later –
he said they don’t drink the same kind of beer he drinks.
I wanted to buy these beers just because of the names!!
but didn’t b/c they were $10 each!!
I found a stray 4-pack of West Coast Green Flash IPA.
This was after the guy at the beer store gave us a
10 minute dissertation on how they haven’t had any
in MONTHS & it would be MONTHS before they got more.
If you discover this beer in our vicinity we need an
ALERT ASAP. Michael Loves it & he cannot find it!!!
We had a Mexican feast at our house Sunday night —
what was I thinking? (it included margaritas)
neighbor Roman came over to trouble shoot our computer.
let’s hope it is fixed – we wouldn’t want to jeopardize
