it felt like Christmas in August…

i got this new bike jersey in the mail

and i got these new shoes (on sale!) too!

i did a little cooking before going out –

this is what goes into “my mom’s cucumber salad” –

is there some dish your mom always made that you

“try” to re-create??

Pat & I get close but it is never the same…..

ta-da, cucumber salad! it was GOOD!

I also made a batch of “bacon mushroom”

i should rename them magic mushrooms because they disappear

as soon as I make them……

Chester went to dog school tonight –

he hasn’t been in awhile & won’t go for awhile

since we are going away
