A new day a new perspective……….

After walking the dogs I did a little cooking before getting down to “work”.
Looking for a job IS hard work. Someone recently asked if I was enjoying my time off.
I wouldn’t know – I haven’t had ANY time off. I feel like I am working harder NOW
than I was when I had a “real job”……

sister Pat asked me to make a batch of my famous
Deviled Eggs. These are pretty much the ingredients I use
when making them — subject to change based on what
we have on hand……

Pat said she really liked them but I thought they had a little too much Worcestershire.
|
|
|
|
Next I made Roasted Cauliflower.
It’s pretty simple. Cut the cauliflower into bite size pieces.
Put it in a large ziploc, add some grapeseed oil
(olive oil would work too) and sprinkle in some “secret salt”
Spread on a cookie sheet & bake in a preheated oven
at 425 for 20 minutes – check & stir at 10 minutes…….

Tonight I ventured out to Doylestown to attend a TOASTMASTER Meeting.
Toastmasters
- teaches and improves public speaking skills
- improves our leadership and business meeting skills

Tonight’s meeting was held at the MOOSE LODGE
in Doylestown – about 25 minutes from Ivyland
|
|
|
|
|
|
This was before the action started.
I think we had about 25 people –
current members & some new people checking out
the meeting like I was !!!

After briefly speaking to each other we realized we
knew each — from about 15 years ago.
I was his customer when I worked on the
floor of the Philadelphia Stock Exchange.
We always called him Girard because that was
how were initially introduced.
