We tempted fate & rode our bikes today despite the threat of rain.
The weekend forecast was rain & more rain & flooding.
NONE of that happened!! I can’t believe the forecast was wrong!

ME & Michael
We stumbled upon a couple out for a walk on a closed road.
We don’t often have the chance to have our
picture taken together so I asked the guy to be our
photographer. We rode 27 miles today.

We never tire of the beautiful scenic Bucks County.
I’m convinced everyone who reads Picture of the Day
wants to move here!!! (don’t they??)

|
|
|
House of Coffee is a nice place to take a break.
It is located in the Peddler Village shopping center
in Lahaska, PA.
|
|
|
|
It’s a pleasant atmosphere – they have tasty snacks,
good coffee & good ice tea which Michael drinks.
|
|
|
|
THIS is especially a bonus for bikers .
You can fill up your water bottle with Ice & Water.
I pretty much drink one bottle every 10 miles
so I will need two more. Michael always carries
extra for me as well. Lucky ME!

|
|
|
NOW is the Scarecrow festival at Peddler’s Village–
it’s always fun to walk around & see the different creations.
OF COURSE I love the monkey one!!!
The scarecrows are on display until OCTOBER 30th
– make sure you go see them. They’re FUN!!!!
And it’s FREE!!!!!

after biking we stopped here: JUST FOOD.
It is located right near Holicong park where we biked from.
Michael gets his “special hand-made potato chips” here.
He probably doesn’t want me telling you but I did!!
He thinks they are the BEST potato chips in the
ENTIRE WORLD!!! He feels very strongly about them….

It’s a cute little shop with everything you didn’t know you needed!
|
|
|
|
EVERYTHING looked yummy. I wish we needed something –
other than potato chips!!! Next time we’ll try one of their
delicious looking dishes.

|
They had a whole case of desserts too.
I did get a mini-carrot cake for dessert tonight.

|
I WON this Phillies Basket — my friend attended a charity event
& I told her I’d buy tikcets for the baskets only if she
promised to CRINKLE the tickets for me –
because THAT is HOW you WIN!!

|
lots of fun stuff – I gave it to my brother Larry bc he
is a HUGE PHILLIES fan. He did let me keep the
Phanatic Pillow Pet – I wanted if for the dogs.
They don’t have enough toys!
