Today was my in-person interview at Wegmans.
They did offer me the position – of course!?!

The Wegmans Liquor store is in Cherry Hill, NJ. (25 miles each way).
I take the Betsy Ross Bridge from PA to NJ
but on my way home I take the
Tacony Palmyra bridge from NJ to PA —
because the toll is only $2.00
(toll is only one direction – Betsy Ross is $5)

after the interview, cousin Rose Mary met me (she lives nearby).
We spent time talking to AUDMID she was making a
tasty Brussel sprout dish — really!
She told us how she LOVED working at Wegmans &
hoped she could welcome me to the family!

freshly picked apples from the Orchard!
Neighbor Tanya & daughter Lily brought me some
apples they just picked. They are DELICIOUS!

~ When is the last time you read this magazine?
We read it ALL the time as kids – I guess our parents
figured reading is reading. Friend Dave dropped this
off for me — THANK YOU DAVE!

friend Kelli, who lives in China, sent this picture.
They are LIVE DUCKS being transported on
the motorcycle…. I guess you see some odd
things in China?? I hope to find out one day.
I’m looking to GET MYSELF to China –
once I am there I can stay with Kelli.
Does anyone need an errand run in China??
Or know someone who needs a person to
go to China? I can volunteer….
I’m being serious!!

We had a lot to talk about – with the job offer on the table.
Michael wanted to go here because he likes the beer selection,
the food & the service.
