grilling peppers is quite simple.
Crank up the grill & throw them on.
|

turn & cook until BLACKENED!!
this should be easy for the guys
|
|

important step is getting them in a bag to let them steam.
put them in the bag & roll up the top – then you can
get preparing the other parts of your meal.
|
|
|
|
i started out with GREEN TOMATOES — but as you can clearly see
a couple of them ripened on me — I used them anyway
|
|
|
|
the eggs & flour concoction in the background –
with sliced tomatoes

|
|
often one faces the QUANDRY of knowing WHEN the oil
is HOT ENOUGH to do the frying. I don’t do much frying
so this step often trips me up. Recently I read an article that said throw
a few corn kernels in the oil & when they pop, it’s ready.
Genius!!!
Of course many people use microwave popcorn but we don’t.
