Our first ski day this year!
Blue Mountain about 1.5 hours from Ivyland.
I always like to make “first tracks” b/c the conditions
deteriorate as the day goes on when more
people ski & the temperature rises.

Sad Scene 😦
Blame Michael for the lack of snow.
He bought a snow blower this year.
There were 25 of 39 trails open –
obviously this was one of the closed ones….

one of the race team kids took a spill
& made it back to the lodge but then
he had to be rescued. Hopefully it’s not
serious!

Blue Mountain completely renovated their upper lodge –
It’s really very nice. We usually ski from the lower lodge
so I didn’t even realize they did this upgrade.

We had a great morning of skiing but by late
morning conditions were quite poor.
Every run was a mogul/bump run –
even the green ones (beginners!)!!!

We stopped at Whole Food Markets for lunch
& they have a wine/beer bar too.
ELVIS was in the building!!
Today is his birthday!

I gave Weasel a dog bone & she carried it
around for about an hour before she ate it.
It was funny watching her NOT eat it
& just carry it everywhere!
