1/19/12 Sunday Skiing Elk Mountain
Today we skied ELK MOUNTAIN
-it’s about 2.5 – 3 hrs from Ivyland
The conditions were OUTSTANDING!!!
The Crowds didn’t get there until late morning
so we were able to get a lot of runs in before
the lift lines started. (Got up to Porcupine!)

By noon it was REALLY CROWDED —
time for us to go.
Michael doesn’t do well with crowds.
nice views as we left the mountain.
We like stopping at the State Street Grill
for Apres Ski.
Après–ski (French: after skiing) refers to going out,
having drinks, and generally socializing after skiing.
My go to drink after skiing is a spicy bloody Mary.
mmmmmm
I always like to try different items featured on menus.
This was a cheddar burger topped with bacon & a fried egg.
It was good as were the sweet potato fries.
Getting Two meals out of this dish!
