Sunday 3/18/12
I was at the seashore (Wildwood, NJ) with my friends
Connie & Marguerite. Friend Mary came later at night.
We call going to the beach “Going down the shore”.
I guess it’s an East Coast thing??
We were staying at Connie’s sister’s house
which we named “Peggy’s Palace”!

On our way to WaWa (the name of our convenient stores)
for a Saturday morning coffee.
Peggy’s Palace it at 9th & Ocean.
It’s a 1/2 block to the beach.
Quite convenient.

WaWa has these cool height markers on the door.
I’m more than 5 ft & way less than 6ft.

Marguerite really liked this –
not sure what they are called?
Do you? Vines on a trellis?

I SAW A CARDINAL.
I knew it was going to be a GREAT DAY!
Cardinals are not common sights at the shore.
Usually you see seagulls & pigeons.

after dinner….
We played the game Apples to Apples,
Have you ever played??
The judge (a chosen player) draws a “green apple” card
on which is printed an adjective (“scary”, “frivolous” etc.),
and places it face-up on the table for everybody to see.
Then each player (except the judge) chooses a card
that they think is the best match for the green apple card,
and places it face-down.
The judge decides which noun is the best match for the adjective.
