Fred’s (private breakfast club) for Breakfast.
We were supposed to go biking but an early
morning heavy rain & additional thunderstorm threats
changed our plans…..

since biking/running outside was nixed –
I spent some time reading….YAY!!!
this makes me very happy.

I took the dogs on a few short walks.
We checked on the bluebird babies –
they are getting BIG!!
Two weeks old.

for clarification purposes —
this is what an adult BLUEBIRD looks like.
They are cute & mild mannered.
They eat insects so if you see a bird
that is blue eating from your feeder –
it most likely is NOT a BLUEBIRD.

This is a BLUE JAY.
They are pretty big birds & kind of mean spirited.
They pick on little birds & can be aggressive –
they come from the crow family.
They like seeds & nuts so you might find these birds
eating from your bird feeders.

Michael spent most of the day playing in his pond.
He drained out all the water & captured a few hundred
fish to give to a co-worker. We should have maybe a
dozen fish in our pond & we still have a ton.

He hangs out on the bottom so we rarely see him.
I rescued him a couple months ago.
I found him hot & 1/2 dead on the road
& brought him home to new fish friends.

Pat & I went shopping for dinner supplies (& more).
We just visit the Buttercake – we don’t buy it
unless we are going to a party.
We don’t want that thing in our house –
it’s dangerous – tastes too good.

for dinner I made succulent Grilled Scallops
& Grilled Caesar Salad (my first time) ~
(yes, grilled!!!)
Everything was DELICIOUS –
even I liked it!
~definitely making this again!

Ours like to snarf out the window –
