There is a bike race in Philadelphia every year.
I heard it’s a lot of FUN yet I had never been.
Today we drove to the city with our bikes
& explored the Race Action.

The Wall offers the best vantage point for watching the race, with unbeatable proximity to the riders.
You can practically high-five them as they bike up the hill.

it was a good day. We road 18 miles today
& we got to see the race up close.

It is Philly Beer Week so we stopped in
Memphis Taproom to see what they
had going on. They were having
NO REPEAT BEER WEEK.

I got something I usually don’t get –
A slow roasted pork sandwich with
Provolone, baby spinach, fresh garlic mayo.
The guy next to me had one & it looked good.
It didn’t disappoint. Was delicious.

We had some stormy weather brewing
|
|
|
|
|

DUCKS on our neighbors roof.
Quack Quack Quack!!!
Fly away before the storm!!!!

I don’t want to underestimate what I CAN do.
Where there’s a need, there’s an opportunity.
My action may not turn a life around,
but it can make some kind of difference.
And I’ll trust that the something I do,
no matter how small,
will be better than the nothing I might have done.
