co-worker Paul (aka Pablo) was leaving.

Today was his last day. He wanted to get a

last bird’s eye view of the store before leaving.

Here he is high up on “the wave” — a little cart

thing we use to drive around wine

& stack wine on high shelves.

We had a GROUPON for a restaurant, Macaroni’s,

that we used to go to A LOT when we lived in Philly

AND when it was byob.

it looks MUCH different than when we used to go.

I heard they spent $$$$ putting on the addition.

I could eat just the peppers & bread all night long

Sausage, Spinach & Beans~
Homemade mild Italian sausage, fresh spinach,
Cannolini beans. mmmmmmm

Penne Vodka~
Penne pasta, light tomato cream sauce, fresh basil.

Carbo loading for tomorrow’s tournament.

Calamari Fritti~
Sweet and hot peppers, fresh diced tomatoes

Dinner was good but I think they are pricey.

Plus we prefer byob places.

It might be awhile before we go back,

even with a groupon coupon……

serve red wine at room temperature….
