Saturday 10/27/12

A
Today we were hosting a Home Brew Session
compliments of friends Jim & Chris –
our friends who regularly brew beer at home
AND it’s not crap

my co-worker Jeff gave me a bottle of beer
to share with all the students.
It was one of the best beers of the day.

3Floyds Dreadnaught

A hophead’s dream beer.
This Imperial India Pale Ale is strong and
intensely hoppy , its complex flavor is both
smooth and memorable.

we like HOPPY BEER!!!!

I was also re-using the spent grains…….

Spent grain is a byproduct of beer brewing
consisting of the residue of malt and grain which remains in the mash-kettle after the mashing and lautering process.

I made some dog biscuits & the dogs LOVE them!!!

let me know if you want the recipe!!
