Lobby Tasting that is held monthly at
Blue Bell Country Club.

Beat the Heat…..Take a Wine Vacation

Domaine La Courtade L’Alycastre Rose 2012,

Provence, France

Blend of equal parts Mourvedre, Grenache and Tibouren

Aromas of tomato leaf, peach and rose petal.

Juicy strawberry and tart rhubarb flavors, light to medium body.

Stone minerals and orange zest on the finish. Snappy and bright.

Argiolas Rosato 2012, Sardegna, Italy

50% Cannonau, 25% Monica, 20% Carignano, and 5% Bovale

Hand harvested in the early morning. Fermented & aged in stainless steel.

Brief skin contact of less than 24 hours imparts fresh fruit flavor

and lively aromas.

Fazi Battaglia Titulus Verdicchio 2012, Marche, Italy

100% Verdicchio, harvested by hand

Fermented in Stainless steel tanks and cement vats.

Intense bouquet of peaches, apples, roses and freshly baked bread.

Hint of bitter almond on the finish-typical of the Verdicchio grape.

Mercouri Estates Foloi White 2012, Peloponnese, Greece

90% red Roditis grapes from high elevation vineyards and 10% Viognier grape

Some grassy notes, crisp, sunny and invigorating demeanor.

Fresh orchard fruit, citrus and a clean, crisp finish.

Weingut Heinrich Red 2011, Neusiedlersee, Austria

60% Zweigelt, 30% Blaufränk isc h, 10% St.Laurent

Fermented in stainless steel, aged 12 month in French and Slovenian Oak barrels

Cherry nose and hints of floral and spice characters.

Black and red cherry notes on the palate.

Refreshing acidity and well managed, round tannins.

Agrina Doo Portuguiser 2012, Fruska Gora, Serbia

100% Portuguiser

(common variety known as Blauer Portugieser in Germany and Austria)

Aromas of black currants and black berries with undertones of forest berries.

Flavors of strawberries, plums, and tart cherries.
The wine is smooth with moderate acidity, and soft tannins.
