January 27th 2014 Senior Dog needs home, Bird watching

January 27th 2014

a nice saying to start off the day!

Help us find a home for Charley!!
Charley – female yellow lab. Will be 13 in March.

Good temperament. Loves people and children.
she comes from a family with kids,
but mom and family dealing with
a serious illness and long recovery.
They are trying to find the best place for the Charley.
PLEASE SHARE!

We thought we had a lead on a home for Charley
but nothing definite yet. Can you or someone
you know give Charley a home??
Please share her picture & ask around.
Thanks.

Everything in life is temporary.

If things are good right now, enjoy it. It won’t last forever.

If things are bad, don’t worry

because it won’t last forever either.

Just because life isn’t easy at the moment,

doesn’t mean you can’t laugh.

Every moment gives you a new beginning and a new ending.

You get a second chance, every second.

You just have to take it and make the best of it.

Wednesday 1/22/14 day after SNOW storm, dr’s, Fran caterer, To-Yo, beer,

Wednesday 1/22/14

the day AFTER a snowstorm is always interesting….
lots of shoveling & SNOW on the garaged Leopard Mobile.
HOW did THAT happen??

one of our not so considerate neighbors shoveled all
his snow into the alley way that had already been plowed.
We don’t all have trucks that can drive though it!
Lucky me I got more exercise shoveling it from the
alley way. So it all worked out!

Quiet day at the DR’s office!
The snow scared away everyone.

Thank you Vanessa for advising me HOW to address
an envelope to Spain!!

meeting with FRAN the caterer for Mike’s mom’s
90th birthday party. Yes NINETY!Anyone need a caterer?? I got the girl for the job!

The answer to, “is that the best you can do…”

is always no.

A better question is,

“what resource would enable you to do even better?”

When the cost of the resource (time, people, money, freedom, boundary easing)

is worth the benefit, then sure, go for it. If you can’t make it better, hire someone who can.
