Invariably, the 5 minutes of inspiration you need to totally rock the world and transform your life, will come at the end of hours, weeks, months, or even years’ worth of floundering, frivolity, false starts, and seeming hopelessness.

Yet when the dream comes true and you glance over your shoulder, you’ll see that those 5 minutes were made possible because of everything that led up to them, and that you never needed to be so critical of yourself or the time it was taking.

1.5.14 Sunday errands, Cooking, Pro Volleyball, Leopard Mobile

1.5.14

Tanner Brothers produce was a GHOST TOWN today.
I’ve never see it this empty.
I guess the weather scared the people away?
No lines!

a little disappointing though – no Butter Cake to visit…

I got a recipe for Crockpot French Onion soup –
it sounded good, thought I’d try it.

I got a check for playing volleyball –
collected $200 – better than collecting nothing….

Since I got paid to play I suppose that makes me a PRO!

Chester getting a ride in the car. He likes to snarf.

We had to take the Leopard Mobile to the hospital.
It had a fight with the garage & the garage won.
oops.

Momma pig & babies enjoying the snow

The finished Onion Soup. It was ok.
It needed salt – then it was VASTLY improved.

Next time I am going to use this recipe.
The long-cut vs the crock pot short cut.

1.2.14 gym, FREE STUFF, customer visits, Chester, bunny, BEER SCHOOL

1.2.14

Apparently PINK was the color of the day?
The gym was crowded today with everyone & their
darn resolutions. It takes until about mid-February
for things to get back to normal.

Can anyone use these cool coasters??
I think they are made of sandstone.
They can be used as coasters or made into
some crafty item.

Pick up only!
I’ll only ship if you pay s & h.
they’re kind of heavy.

Motivated myself to visit some customers today.
My first stop was KC PRIME & ……
I got an order. Amazing how that works.

Stopped to see SAM at Maggio’s.
He is super cool & we like the food here.
If you ever go – tell SAM I sent you.
thanks.

last stop was here.
Can anyone ID this place???
You’ve seen it before.
Gorgeous views all year round.

Guess who had a birthday yesterday??
Chester was NINE years old on Wednesday.
When do they grow up like that?
so fast! He’s still a pup at heart but
I can say I see him slowing down a tad.

I know we are weirdos – but we get excited
when we see bunnies visiting our yard!

Happy people do not experience one success after another and unhappy people, one failure after another. Instead, surveys show that happy and unhappy people tend to have had very similar life experiences. The difference is that the average unhappy person spends more than twice as much time thinking about unpleasant events in their lives, while happy people tend to seek and rely upon information that brightens their personal outlook.
