because I plan to be a Rock Star in the new job!
They will be quite happy with my production.

The presents for Baby Danielle keep rolling in…

Monday 3/18/13 Blindfold Wine Dinner!

Monday 3/18/13

Tonight friend Mary & I attended a
Blind Wine & Dinner tasting @
Vintage Grille.http://www.vintagegrille.net/
A good turn out — 3 tables of 10
Everyone wore Blindfolds while
you were eating & drinking. yup.
interesting.
friend Mary
Helen with Blindfold
The Chef offered three different menus for you tochoose from so guests would know what the theme
of their meal is but not know the specific items.
The menus offered were:
Vegetarian, Seafood and Roll the Dice.

Mary & I went with the ROLL THE DICE choice —

This is Gail – she was the Wine Expert telling us
about the wines AFTER we tried them blind.Gail is who I do the Wednesday Night Wine tastings for
at the Liquor Stores in Bucks County.
We started with this Sparkling Wine from France.
NOT a Champagne…. as it was from the Loire region.
We are all getting ready…. sort of!!Blind Wine Dinner
With complimentary wine pairings
A unique 5 Course dinner that is served in
the dark that will awaken your senses and
challenge your perceptions.
ALL finished. Let’s just say it was interesting! They promised to send the menu & some pictures
from the event. When I get them I will update this post.
Guest Chef Michael Kanter~He has a resume of stellar experience under his belt,
including stints at Le Bec Fin, Blue Angel and the Four Seasons.

*****************************************************************

The whole dinner concept was quite interesting.
It was a challenge identifying not only the wine but the food as well.
AND you had to navigate around your dinner plate eating & drinking.

If you think you would like to try this, let me know.
I could totally see organizing an event like this.

to be a problem or an opportunity
