11-17-11 Yoga at Ambler Y, Arpeggio Restaurant

Today friend Mary invited me to her gym for yoga class.

It is a state of the art, brand spanking new YMCA.

Class was quite good & challenging.

Wish I could go to this gym ALL the time!!!

anyone want to sponsor me??? i miss working out!

afterwards we went to Arpeggio near the YMCA.

I had a gift card so lunch was FREE.

Since I don’t have a “real job”

FREE fits nicely with my budget!!!

WE shared a Greek salad – which was tasty but not

“WOW – i have to go back right away.”

Mary with our four veggie pizza.

Same thing – was good but I’m not rushing back.

Our busboy guy was GREAT, server not so hot.

Wouldn’t you think they would at least be

FRIENDLY??

THRILLED to be having BLUEBIRDS at my feeder

in the middle of November! I must be doing

something right!!! I am so LUCKY!!

Here’s Mr Bluebird perched in the “hawk’s tree” –

after I scared him from the feeder (not on purpose!)

gathered up some “stuff” for donations to the American Vets.

If you have anything feel free to throw it up on my porch

before 8 a.m. tomorrow (Wednesday) morning.

I LOVE getting rid of STUFF.

KOHL’s errand today.
I rarely come here & every time I do

shop at Kohl’s I am reminded WHY I don’t

like going there…..

next stop was WHOLE FOODS.

I had a Living Social coupon.

Paid $10 for $20 worth of food.

A bargain!

They had these ADORABLE puffin Christmas Cards

– which I did NOT buy — (b/c I don’t send them).

It didn’t. Don’t buy one.

The wine wasn’t so hot either. Double dud.

The corkcicle that I REALLY wanted to like

& the wine that Michael gave me for Christmas last year.

at Whole Foods – have you ever had it?

It’s tasty.

Grape Spritzer — kind of like grape soda but it’s NOT.

GRAPE is one of my favorite flavors, always has been.

Maybe that is why I like WINE so much??

Though WINE hardly tastes like GRAPES,

or does it??

they particularly like mourning doves….

We have a lot of those —

I just don’t want him eating my Bluebirds!

stopped here to pick up pretzels for my co-workers

I saw this dog from inside the store & was talking

to the customer he belonged to who insisted

I come out & meet BANGO.

He was a SUPER NICE dog, glad I met him!

Today my boss asked me to do an in house tasting for customers.

I suggested we open TWO different wines & it worked like a charm!

People were BUYING WINE!!! It’s always good to give choices.

Cabernet from Chile ($10)

Malbec from Argentina ($9)

Both were GOOD & I would buy/drink both.

Malbec was my favorite.

Chester enjoyed her visit & hopes she comes back to play again.

Not sure if DANNY wants Gracie to come back.

Chester was supervising.

I got some new lotions today.

Bath & Body Works – they smell so good!

I am doing research for an upcoming

It’s harder than it sounds.

Flying Fish tasting at our store today.

I need to know my beers as well as my wines

so I am able to help customers.

I know – tough job!

WE did a comparison tasting of these two blends.

The Clos Du Bois won!
