Monday 8/29/11
Today we rode 52 HILLY MILES from Augusta to Boothbay, Maine.
I was really struggling – the ride was VERY challenging.
Fortunately for me (and maybe NOT for Michael) –
our ride leader Roger taught him how to do a “jet assist” –
where when we are climbing a hill Michael comes next to me
& keeps his hand on my back helping push me up the hill!
It was SO HELPFUL!!!
Thank you Roger (& Michael!)

Michael had the first “flat” of the day –
it was really a broken stem & not a flat –
but the tube needed to be changed
