some have peanut butter –
so they will be the Reeses Peepses

chocolate & guess what?
It was pretty pretty tasty…..

Tuesday March 15th 2011 Photography Class & the Basement project

I enrolled in a photography class which started tonight.
It is just two Tuesdays. If I like it there are other classes
I can take – assuming I can fit them in my schedule…..
The classes are held at New Hope Solebury High School –
about 30 minutes from Ivyland.

Monday 3/14/11 basement finishing……still!

back to reality…. up early even with Daylight Savings.
A.M. Boot Camp class, catch up at work after being out a couple days,
dog school after work. Now it’s tome to unpack then pack
the gym bag….. yup – back to reality…..

today we went back to Gore for More skiing…
this is quite an awesome mountain –
we are already planning next years trip!

friday 3/11/11 snow, skiing,spider

Friday 3/11/11

Window
the snow was above our hotel window.
they got about 3 feet of snow this week before we got there.
Gondola
this is the view form the Gondola at Gore Mtn.
the snow was soft & the fog was thick.
you could only see maybe 10 feet in front of you.
We only skied a couple hours after I had a
final “yard sale”……( i fell & lost equipment)
Spider
the Barking Spider is a cool bar. we wanted to like
it better than we did as we met the owner last year
when we were here but the beer selection was
kind of lame. We actually found another place
that had an awesome beer/wine menu.
good food too.

3/10/11 rain then SNOW!

We’re out of town on an adventure so PotD will be brief & possibly interrupted the next few days.
I’ll see what I can do. It’s a challenge for me to be unplugged…..

Snow
our drive into North Creek, NY on our way to
GORE MOUNTAIN

it rained the first 4 hours of our drive then snowed the last 1.5 hours

the Inn we ended up NOT staying at —
it was a little too rustic for us.
Plus the steps were covered with about a
foot of snow which made getting to/from
the room a challenge…..

AND — NO Wi-Fi…………imagine that???

 

cell phone service is almost non-existent so if you need

me it is better to EMAIL me b/c I can hook up

to wi-fi at our new & improved hotel
