Thursday 1/27/11 Beer Tasting…NOT (it was cxled) – more snow Pics

Thursday 1/27/11

okay — so today we got SLAMMED with snow.

I think we got about 16 inches…..

Michael & I shoveled for 1.5 hrs then

I trained it into the city. It was all good.

1/26/11 SNOW

1/26/11
We here on the East Coast got a nice treat today.
SNOW!!!
It was supposed to be rain changing to snow but
that is NOT what we got…..
AND – to make things more fun —
I had to DRIVE into work to attend a meeting –
that got cancelled – of course!
Forecast is for another 4 to 8 inches tonight.
Woo Hoo 🙂

Tuesday 1/25/11 Bird Meeting

Tuesday 1/25/11

Every 4th Tuesday our club has a bird meeting.

We have a lecturer with a slide show.

We always learn a lot.

Jeffrey Hall – tonight’s speaker.

His “Birds on the Rocks” presentation was about breeding colonies

of murres, gannets, and other seabirds

off the coast of the Canadian Maritimes.

Sunday January 23rd, 2011 the day after the party

You’re not “allowed” to leave gifts behind –

it’s a RULE!!! We had a lot of rule breakers…

oh yeah….we had a PARTY!

you know it was a good party when –

the garbage disposal breaks….

(Pat fixed it – it was the ice cube with a bug)

the toilet broke too –

i think Michael said something about a flapper…

he fixed it & we’re all good to go…..

we encourage writing on the bathroom walls

outside our friends Mary & Tom’s house

– we picked them up to go out to breakfast

today would have been a nice day to s
led bc it was SUNNY.

but after last night – i wasn’t really in the “sledding mood”.

Weasel was dog-tired from last night’s party

dinner i threw together b/c I didn’t feel like going out
