accidentally, not by design…..

relaxed today & watched the EAGLES WIN…
though many fans were skeptical initially,
they pulled out a win.

found a new soda NOT DIET & only 60 calories.
We bought this when we were in Rochester
& found out I can buy it at Wegmans.
It’s Tasty!

Weasel’s dinner….
chicken, broth, cheese, hard boiled eggs
with a little dog food.

She hasn’t had much of an appetite which
is NOT a good sign for a senior dog……
She’ll be 14 in November.

I’ve been babysitting neighbor Denise’s hanging plant.
I’m all proud of myself or not killing it which is
what usually happens when I’m in charge of plants.
Oh, they need water????

Cool skies in Ivyland this afternoon

yup this is our neighborhood.

9/5/14 Chester, Hawk, Steam Pub, Ragin Cajun

Haven’t had one of these pictures in a long time!

Someone is getting FAN MAIL from Helen!

Who is the lucky person??

Hawk I saw on walk with Chester today

Chester at the specialty veterinarian office.

He needed an ultrasound to diagnose his problem.
Originally they thought he had cancer but then reconsidered
that diagnosis based on lab results.

Basically, Chester has hyperparathyroidism.
The specialty vet recommended surgery ($2,000)
which really is not an option unless Chester
finds an anonymous donor to sponsor him.

We will talk to our primary vet & explore
other options.

if anyone has experience with this disease
regarding treatment please share what you know!

in the meantime…this little guy is LOST
in the Blue Bell, PA area.

let me know if you see him!

Lunch at STEAM today with sister Pat.
Pat is retired & I have a vacation day, YAY!
so we had time for a sister lunch

We did write a poem for the server,
but forgot to get a picture of it.

Today we drove both cars to the shore & left the SUV
there as we are biking to the shore Saturday & need
a ride home! Ragin Cajun is one of Michael’s favorite
places to eat so we started his birthday weekend here.

roasted garlic is served along with bread.
It is delicious & surprisingly NOT garlicky.

There was another guy here celebrating his birthday.
We had not cake, candles or singing for Michael!
Just the way he likes it……

Michael’s birthday is not officially until Saturday
but we always tend to make it s weekend celebration.
And this is a BIG BIRTHDAY!

9/4/14 Center CIty, Blue Bell Inn, Parc Bistro, Buona Via, Biking, Beer School

had a meeting in the city today.
this is center city traffic on a Friday afternoon.

I luckily scored a parking spot right across the
street from where I had to go.

This parking cop “accidentally” gave this guy a ticket.
I overheard the conversation with her supervisor.
Good thing the guy caught her!

new restaurant opening at 17th & Chestnut.
I have his account in the Suburbs so I will keep
the Center City account, at least initially.

BLUE BELL INN was one of my stops today.

Parc Bistro sells my wine: the FX Barc Sauv Blanc.
And it is quite awesome!

this account BRASSERIE is closed for now.
Hoping to get more of my wines on the list
with the new owners.

Buona Via is my account in Horsham.
My boss usually covers them bc they are friends.
But I stopped there today bc my boss is in Italy.

Biking tonight with Michael as our ride leader.
We let the little girl get in on our picture.

I had to pick up a report on Chester.
He needs an Ultrasound to figure out what
is going on with him.
They suspected Cancer but now it seems they
are ruling that out.
He now has to go to a Specialist.
Once we figure out what he has then
we can treat it.
