When buying from an artist/maker,
you’re buying more than just an object/painting.
You are buying hundreds of hours
of failures and experimentation.
You are buying days, weeks, and months of frustration AND moments of pure joy.

You aren’t just buying a thing.
You’re buying a piece of heart, part of a soul,
a moment of someone’s life.
Most importantly, you’re buying the artist more time—to do something they are passionate about.

Monday June 30th 2014 Wine delivery, Car Shopping

Monday June 30th 2014

sometimes when customers enter orders late
I end up being the Delivery Girl….

In this instance it was for a brand new restaurant.
14 cases of wine/liquor.

ready for pick up! Come & get ’em….

In Pennsylvania you can’t deliver to the restaurant.
You have to deliver to a State Liquor Store,
then the customer comes & picks it up.

what’s better than a glass of wine??
maybe two??

I found this cool part of town to hunker down & do
some work after my delivery.

We visited FREE WILL brewing today

http://freewillbrewing.com/

Free Will Brewing is in Perkasie –
about a 30 minute drive

It’s just a small tasting room.
We came to get a growler filled with
Habanero Mango IPA

In the late 1800s and early 1900s, fresh beer was carried from the local pub to one’s home by means of a small-galvanized pail. Rumor has it that when the beer sloshed around the pail, it created a rumbling sound as the CO2 escaped through the lid, thus the term “growler” was coined.

They also sell dog biscuits at Free Will.
We got the sweet potato ones bc they were low fat.

since we were up that way we stopped at the
Horse Tavern

http://www.thehorsetavern.com/

they have a great draft list & good food too!
