Saturday 8/28/10
It’s been awhile since playing at the beach with my “regular partner” Diana –
We always try coordinating our schedules & when Di can’t play
I play with others. Today’s tournament was being held in
Pt Pleasant, NJ. where we usually play volleyball ……
Michael was biking to the beach with our friend Michael W. &
Michael’s girlfriend Judith came with me to relax on the beach
& watch exciting volleyball 🙂 She wasn’t disappointed.

Last week I played with Lana.
We played Lana & Mia in our second round of playoffs
& succeeded on getting to the FINALS!
(meaning we won that playoff match)

sister PAT made little sandwiches for Judith & I to eat.
She packed us an awesome lunch & snacks with pretzels,
pickles, crackers, cheese dip, napkins

(not moistened….).

We came in 2nd place….first place always seems to
elude us…we need more practice…
We had an AWESOME day playing. GR8 weather 🙂

oops. dead battery. not sure how that happened but the
parking lot people had a battery charger & we were up
and running in a jiffy.

We didn’t LEAVE the beach until 8pm. After we showered we headed
over to Belmar ( a few beaches North) & ate dinner at Michael’s
favorite restaurant)

The food was great as usual but we were really very
curious about the can of “aid” we saw sitting on the
counter near the kitchen……

Michael & Judith – thanks for coming out to play
with us today. We had LOTS of fun & are looking
forward to our next adventure….
