Hachi: A Dog’s Tale / Movie Review
I enjoyed Hachi & was warned it would be a tear jerker but what it really is :
Is A true story of faith, devotion and undying love! It’s all in one’s perception…..
Anyone who has ever owned a pet will get something out of “Hachi: A Dog??s Tale.”
It is a plain yet touching film based on a true story. A man finds a lost Akita dog at the local railway station and there is an immediate bond.
Every morning, Hachi goes to the train station with Parker to see him off.
Then Hachi waits patiently for Parker to return home every evening.
One day Parker dies at work and doesn’t come home.
Hachi ends up going back to the train station to patiently wait for his master day after day. Don’t mistake Hachi: A Dog’s Tale as a downer, even with all the heart-tugging.
It’s an inspirational movie & I would totally recommend it. btw – Hachi means number 8 in Japanese — which is how I came to watch this movie.
8 is my FAVORITE NUMBER……. it also means Good Fortune and ….
#8 in the 17 Success Principles correlates to Pleasing Personality. so there!

aw, Hachi! such loyalty. Joyce should’ve stayed. I’m going to the library tomorrow; I’ll let you know how much I owe them! Thanks Pat! Thanks Helen! And, Thanks Mike, too!Next time, someone else can sit on the pee-pee sofa!
When you borrow a broken DVD from the library it should cost you ZERO. That’s MY opinion.
