Sunday morning – beautiful scene in the backyard
of the Keeney Kastle…..
then they had to move into a hotel because
of no electricity or water……

When we shop at Tanner Brother’s market
sister Pat & I always like to visit the Buttercake.
We don’t buy it, just visit….
Well, maybe if there is a party we will buy it
& take it there but never buy & take home!

i made these delicious Albanian Bureks —
they were mushroom, onion & mozzarella
wrapped in a phyllo dough

did you know you can roast peppers right on your stove top?
you don’t need a grill!

letting them steam in a bag is the important part!

ta-da! Tasty, delicious roasted peppers!

paired with a cheesey garlic bread which was
also tasty & I have no idea how to recreate
