Monday 3/24/14 working from home, Dog NEEDS home, Job Fair

Monday 3/24/14

Mondays tend to not be very exciting as I usually
work from home, never leaving the house!
Today I was creating tasting notes for future appointments.

Is Your Dog Licensed?
March is β€œDog License Awareness Month” in Pennsylvania

Governor Tom Corbett is greeted by a Jack Russel at the Montgomery County SPCA animal shelter, where he urged Pennsylvanians to license their dogs, saying a dog license is the best way to ensure lost dogs have a happy homecoming.

speaking of DOGS — this pooch needs a home.
He is kept in a cage 15 hours a day which is no life
for a dog!!

Do you or someone you know need a DOG??
This guy is a Shiba Inu / Corgi mix.

Please share. Let’s get this dog a life!

Signs we are getting for the Common Area.
Maybe they will help with our errant dog poops?

Visited GUY’s Bicycles today.
Was looking for padded winter biking pads.
Didn’t find any 😦

I did find TOAST stenciled on their trash container.

friend TOM is looking for a job. His picture made it
on Congressman Michael Fitzpatrick’s website
for the job fair he organized for displaced Lockheed
Martin employees.

Tom is a TELECOM NETWORK ENGINEER.
Can anyone use one of those???
Let me know!!

and if you see one of these, let me know!!
I need this scent!!

I love this way of thinking….

3/21/14 New Hope, Doylestown, Linda, Stacey & Archie, Wing Lee, new shoes

3/21/14

Has anyone seen any ROBINs yet this Spring?

driving along the river to my fist appointment.
super nice views.

Meeting at the Mansion in New Hope.
Hoping to get some Wine Business!

View from the New Hope/Lambertville Bridge

My boss & I were checking out the Wine Bar
in Lambertville. It’s pretty cool.

My boss was unimpressed.

We stopped at Mother’s to see Patrick.
He has my SOREL Liqueur. Drink up!

There was an awful car accident (that Danny was on call for). There was a detour getting to my next appointment.
Nobody survived this accident. Very sad.

There is a new bar/restaurant called the HATTERY opening here inside the Doylestown Inn.
He’s going to buy some wine from me.

My customer To-Yo is soon going to have
10 taps so if you don’t come drink my wine
you can have some beer with your Sushi.

Had a private tasting at Iron Abbey LOFT
with friend Linda (right) and her friend Stacey.

Friend Archie showed up.
I needed to get my picture with him!!!
Archie had been a great mentor in my business.
He’s the best!! Well, maybe not as great as BILLY!

Michael wanted to go out to dinner last night
after being cooped up inside all day.
We went to Wing Lee. The food is always good here.
Never disappoints!

Loving the new kicks. Woo hoo.

for today’s quote of the day
I am sharing what friend ELTON sent me:

Hi Helen,

Everyday in our local newspaper they print a THOUGHT OF THE DAY. When I read this I thought of you. This is a quote by John Quincy Adams “If your actions inspire others to dream, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader”. This is you.

Elton

gee, thanks Elton, you’re so kind πŸ™‚

We’re (sister Pat & Michael mom) here for Michael’s surgery.
He’s been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer

Surgical Marker – X marks the spot!

Daphne the therapy dog

When I used my credit card at the gift shop the lady asked for ID. I showed her Weasel’s driver’s license & she said OK!
It’s not the first time that has happened.

9pm Still waiting for Michael to get out of recovery.
It was a long surgery (4 hours) & a long recovery (3 hours)

Betty, Michael’s mom, reading edible Jersey.
We are still awake at 9pm after waiting ALL DAY.

I was quite productive. I need a day like this once a week!

and also Editor for Edible Philly.
I love having “famous friends” !

FINALLY – 10pm – they brought Michael to his room.

got home at 11pm. SO tired, couldn’t sleep.
Had a WOLF & a DRAGON.
Watched TV. relaxed.
