Monday 11/11/13 Stuff a Bag, Tony’s, Ted’s, Volleyball, Iron Abbey

Monday 11/11/13

It’s that Time of the Year to
STUFF A BAG!!!

This is what is needed for the Thanksgiving Food Drive.
Please share!!

neighbor Denise is collecting the food & taking it
to the Food Bank where she works.
If you would like to donate money instead of food
that’s OK too. Let me know & I’ll get
the information to you.

Sales call at Tony’s today.
Jason has to be one of my most considerate customers.
I really like him!!

btw – the Los Dos will be going on their new menu
so DRINK UP!!!

visited my account at Ted’s today
Stephanie is cool too.
They carry Gruet – a sparkling wine from New Maxico.

LOVE LOVE this license plate!

I brought some Volleyball T-shirts to

Sunday 11.10.13 Poop Patrol, PetSmart, Cooking, Wine

Sunday 11.10.13

Weasel & Chester on an Adventure today –
an extended morning walk on a gorgeous day.
They’re like Deer, blending in with the foliage.

Michael on Litter Patrol

Weasel & her shadow

During every walk we are on neighborhood “Poop Patrol”.
I often accuse leaves of being Poop!!

We still have some inconsiderate dog owners who are
not cleaning up after their dogs. Does anyone have a
suggestion to catch the perpetrator?
We seriously need help catching them.

Weasel & Chester in PetSmart –
our Sunday afternoon outing

this is what Weasel eats – it looks like people food!
SIMPLY NOURISH – probably one of the very best
dog foods you can feed your dog next to Blue Buffalo.

Pat & I went to Tanner Brother’s Produce to visit the Butter cake and get some produce, of course.
We never buy the Butter Cake – we just visit it.

ALSO – we discovered the BEST time to shop at Tanner’s.
Right before or during the Eagle’s game!

I made this concoction which was pretty tasty.
Roasted Broccoli with pistachios, garlic & bacon.

Michael getting the snow blower ready for us.
It might snow on Wednesday. Really?
Maybe we will only get “thick rain” as my
friend pen pal Stefanie says……

YES!!!! The Eagles won & I was SO HAPPY so I didn’t
have to hear all the fans bitching about them losing!

popped open this bottle of wine —
DROPS OF JUPITER (yes, Train the band!)
it is a good everyday drinking wine for
about $10.

“This wine is ridiculous with big flavor and a fruit bomb forward presentation that should grab your attention from the start. This is just a juicy, big wine and for the price, I will be getting MORE. Raise a glass to be sure.”

http://ow.ly/qG5Zn

I used the new wine stopper
that Danny & Rachael gave me.
It preserves the wine well!

I only had TWO glasses of wine….

COOL Picture of the Sky

Someday everything will make perfect sense.

“I firmly believe in small gestures: pay for their coffee, hold the door for strangers, over tip, smile or try to be kind even when you don’t feel like it, pay compliments, chase the kid’s runaway ball down the sidewalk and throw it back to him, try to be larger than you are— particularly when it’s difficult. People do notice, people appreciate. I appreciate it when it’s done to (for) me. Small gestures can be an effort, or actually go against our grain (“I’m not a big one for paying compliments…”), but the irony is that almost every time you make them, you feel better about yourself. For a moment life suddenly feels lighter, a bit more Gene Kelly dancing in the rain.”
