6/16/13 Relaxing on a Father’s Day, Dogs, cows, drinks,….

We slept in today – something we usually never do!
I was tired from Volleyball & Michael biked 102 miles
to the shore.

Saved some $$$ today… who doesn’t like that??

next stop was for fresh farm picked Strawberries

These are DELICIOUS!!!

I did not do the picking — I let others
do the hard labor – I just EAT THEM!

While we were at the Produce store we
met this handsome Vizsla = GUS!

Vizsla owners always talk to each other.

the cows were going in to eat — one by one
they got the memo & went strolling in….

These cows failed to get the memo!!!
They were hanging out begging for ice cream.
Yup, they eat ice cream!

a couple weeks ago I mentioned putting salt on watermelon.
(which I did not really care for)
friend Denise suggested I try this concoction:
brush a little olive oil on pineapple & sprinkle with salt.
I did try it & it was actually ok.
I think it cut some of the acidity in the pineapple.
BUT – with that said – I do like my fruit
au naturel – so I most likely will not be
eating my pineapple this way.
You’re welcome to try it & share your reviews.

this is supposed to be an AWESOME concoction.
I haven’t tired it yet but stand by for the review.
It’s coming…..

all my bags are packed & I’m ready to go..
off to the beach to play in a volleyball tournament

Today’s tournament was held in Seaside Heights, NJ
about 1 1/2 hours from Ivyland

It was a gorgeous beach day & crowded too

for playing a bunch of volleyball games

Today I had an appointment here: Blue Bell Country Club.
I’ve known Jason for a long time & he offered to help
in my new venture. Basically, a mentor from
the Buyers point of view. Our session was VERY HELPFUL.
AND — He invited me to do a wine tasting next month.
My challenge is to come up with a theme &
choose the wines.

What is your idea for a Summer Wine Tasting Theme??

I discovered Jason has dogs (6!) so I thought
this would be the perfect TY card for him.

It’s all about gratitude…….
