2/7/13 gym,grilled cheese mmmm, errands, SNOW!, job update….

2/7/13

hung out on the STAIR MASTER while waiting for

my Body Works class to start.

I just said to my friend at class I hope when I get

a real job it doesn’t interfere with my gym schedule!

friend Denise came over for lunch.

We were having tomato soup & grilled cheese.

It was REALLY good —

we made 4 different kinds of grilled cheese.

1. bacon cheddar cheese with Speck (Italian bacon)

2. Burrata

(fresh Italian cheese, made from mozzarella and cream)

with sun dried tomato pestp

3. Truffled Cheese with truffled spread (my fave)

4. Plain ol’ Munchee cheese (Sweet muenster)

after Lunch we took a walk over to the park.

Later, sister Pat & I ran some errands.

We went to this funky consignment shop –

they had a little of everything ~ including these

animal heads…..

then we went to Walmart & saw these glitter tattoos.

I didn’t get them but in retrospect was thinking

I should have so we could have a tattoo party

during this coming weekend snow storm.

I made a new batch of Canine Casserole for the dogs.

They eat better than us sometime!

Ok All —

This is what we are looking at for SNOW in Ivyland.

we are in the 4″ to 12″ band. yay. SNOW, finally.

I mean, it IS winter!!!!

If I am off work Monday, who is in for skiing??

alrighty – so I got word tonight that I did NOT
get the job I was offered last week.

I know the Sales Manager REALLY wanted to hire me,

but the owners met with another candidate,

with experience & they offered them the job.

their mistake.

SOoooooo now I NEED a JOB again….

keep your eyes & ears open for me!

It’s crazy I don’t have a “real job” !!!!

as usually – I like to start the day with the gym.

I hope when I get a new job it doesn’t interfere

2/5/13 "staycation" continues, gym, Tanners, Chester, home-made dinner!

2/5/13

I’m enjoying day 2 of my “staycation” – especially

since relaxation generally escape me.

It’s nice for now but no way could I sustain this

& do it forever! Plus what uneventful

Picture of the Day it would be!!

as usual, when I can, I like to start the day with the GYM.

Kristin actually started class on time today!

I needed some lotion.

Bath & Body works has a line that I like

called Aromatherapy….plus…

I had a coupon for a free bottle of lotion!

I saw these at Wegmans & have NO IDEA what they are, really. Well, I know they are peanuts but BOILED peanuts?

& they give you instructions on how to cook them.

aren’t peanuts usually ROASTED??

anyone???

got a manicure today – the color is Plum & Done.

I don’t think I could get a job as a hand model!

stopped at my mechanics to visit the Lexus.

something with the struts – it will be ready tomorrow.

I was impressed with Dominic’s brother.

His brother sets up a table with Table Cloth & all

for lunch every day. How nice!

made a Tanner’s run today. It’s the only

place to buy fruit & veggies. Great selection

with Awesome prices.

2/4/13 vacation? gym,TY, dentist, reading WINE

2/4/13

somehow my schedule at work got messed up so

I’m only working my regular job on Friday.

& my Wednesday job is *off* this week –

so I kind of have a little vacation??

That’s good. Things have been somewhat

harried recently. It’s kind of nice to relax,

for a change!

today I tried a new class at the gym –

step plus abs. I likely was the most

spastic person in the class but it was

definitely a good work out.

I got FIVE thank you notes in the mail today –

Yippee – that’s always a good feeling.

When was the last time you sent a Thank You?

Attitude of Gratitude – there’s nothing like it!

I had the not so pleasure of going to the dentist today.

A small filing but still the whole Novocain & needle

thing is just yucky! but I suppose it beats the alternative.

Actually had a chance to sit & READ today –

woo hoo – that does NOT happen often.

I LOVE to read!!

I might even try to start my new book tomorrow –

while I’m on “vacation”…..

Weasel gave her shirt to neighbor Denise’s dog GEORGIA –

Weasel kind of grew out of it & it fit Georgia perfectly!

2/3/13 Chester, gym, SUPER BOWL!

2/3/13

Chester patiently waiting for breakfast –

see his tail wagging?!

GYM was packed – that’s usual for a Sunday –

but I think today was extra busy bc

people were working off their Super Bowl Parties

in advance

We got a little snow so we went over to

our neighbors & shoveled for them bc they

were out of town. I didn’t want them to

have to shovel when they got home.

Chester “helped” shovel….

It pays to do laundry……just sayin’……

nothing like CLEAN MONEY $$$

The Super Bowl Warning

This year we stayed local for the Super Bowl.

Neighbors Carol & Don hosted a party.

We usually drive to friends Greg & Jackie in Lancaster, PA

but with all the commuting Michael has been doing

he wanted to stay home this time.

We had a pretty good chance of winning something

from this pool. In the end, Chester won $37.50!

Weasel won $20 in the local pool!

we played a FUN dice game during half time

neighbor Jim won a handful of cash

in the first round

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!!!

I won the second Game 🙂

My friends were all like

“Go San Francisco” or “Go Baltimore”

I’m just like

“When is the Clydesdale commercial?”

Groundhog Day 2013:

‘Punxsutawney Phil’ Predicts Early Spring

Started the day with Body Works class taught by SCOTT.

He is the big burly guy up front.

He’s FUNNY & a good instructor.

Chester unhappy about a bath

Weasel acting not too happy about her bath –

but she actually LIKES it!!

the BEST part is getting toweled off. Weasel Loves that!

Cute puppy picture just because.

I can practically smell their breath!

Met friend Jim for a rare tapping of HOPSLAM by Bell’s.

Made friends while we were at Iron Abbey.

Ken & Sue plus Archie from Shangy’s beer distributor.

stopped at friend Michael’s house to

deliver a batch of Frankenstorm IPA.

It was from the beer school we held at

our house back in October.

Michael wanted to go to the BEER STORE to get

some growlers filled for a Super Bowl Party

They had some Chicory Stout but we didn’t need any.

This is one of my favorite beers.

I just like to say it.
