bypassed the gym today instead…..

Chester & I went running on a very blustery day!

I earned 2 glasses of wine!

I need to run a couple more miles to burn off these!

The co-workers always love when I come in with pretzels!

does anyone else agree the sky looks totally cool?

friend Tommy & his wife Deb stopped by to see me at work today. When will you visit me?? Hurry before I leave!

Wednesday 1/30/13 the gym & my weekly Wine Tasting

My gym “friends”…..

behind me – but she wouldn’t pose so I had to go stealth.

Monday 1/28/13 Interview with Martin Scott & Staying over at Amy’s in NY

Monday 1/28/13

Today I had a job interview/meeting here.

The Headquarters of Martin Scott Wines.

It is located in Lake Success, NY (Long Island)

& is a good 2 hour drive when there is no traffic.

I met first with Marty Gold then with Scott Gerber –

the owners of the company. This is Marty’s office.

Full of WINE BOOKS – I was LOVING it!!!

The meetings went really well & I know the Sales Mngr

wants me for the job. He has to hold off

extending an official offer due to circumstances

beyond his control. Whatever that means.

But I remain positive & confident!

Amy lives 20 minutes from where I interviewed so

she chauffeured me to the meeting

& let me (& friend Tommy) sleep over.

Amy & I worked together at the Philadelphia Stock Exchange.

We’ve know each other for a loooong time! Friends Forever!

Tommy lives in New Hope, PA & made the journey

to NY with me. It was great to have the company

& awesome to have a live navigator with me!

Sunday 1/27/13 Baby Shower – It’s a GIRL!

Today was a baby shower for

Danny & his girlfriend Rachael !!

They’re having a GIRL & they got LOTS of really nice gifts

This was a cute idea to encourage mingling.

The shower was being held at the fire hall right next to

the Trexlertown Velodrome where they race bikes.

Here’s the new mom & dad to be!

Rachael’s friend Ashley did an amazing job

of organizing the shower.

Ashley’s son Austin was a HUGE HELP opening all the presents.

Me & Denise at the Jim Thorpe Memorial on our way up to the Mtns. We recruited some ould guy to take our picture.
