Started the day with a dark, hot, sweaty gym class & an instructor who was 20 minutes late. Better Late than Never!

sister Pat & I ventured to Chestnut Hill for some shopping. It’s a quaint part of Philadelphia with a lot of History. http://www.chestnuthillpa.com/

We ALWAYS have to go to McNally’s Tavern when we visit Chestnut Hill.  It’s a great local pub/restaurant. http://www.mcnallystavern.com/

THIS is what they are famous for ….the Schmitter sandwich. It is quite tasty.  eating 1/2 now is good & saving 1/2 for later is better!

the cooks were busy busy busy – worked non-stop the whole time we were there. The owner also makes home made desserts & brings them in. We didn’t get any of those!

later we went to neighbor Chris & Marybeth’s house. They were hosting a cook-off challenge of Onion Soup.

I brought my wine from Moldova. The Merlot was a big hit. We also liked the Pinot Noir & the White Cabernet was good too…….

not sure what happened to all the New Year Resolutioners? By the time class started about 15 people showed up, unlike Saturdays when 50 people show up, literally.

had a wine tasting tonight & an interview tomorrow. sooooo I “needed” to get a manicure!

Tuesday 1/8/13

I don’t often go to work an HOUR early but I accidentally did today – OOPS. I was confused on the time obviously…. so I stopped and got the Leopard Mobile a long over due bath!

trying to find a GOOD dog food that Weasel will eat. Came up with this list & found a few at the pet store.

so far this it the only one she likes & will eat. Not the BEST food but definitely not the WORST. What does your dog eat???
