2010 Joel Gott Unoaked Chardonnay
Medium yellow in color.
Light to medium bouquet with lots of fruit aromas including citrus, melon & fresh pear.
Dry & well balanced acidity.
Has a fuller body mouth feel with flavors of tangerine, lemon lime, and a slight hint of vanilla creaminess.
JG Chardonnay has a clean medium finish. It would be good by itself but it’s minerality hints that it would pair really well with food. Pair with seafood, a citrusy salad or any lighter style entree.
2010 Charles Smith Wines “Kung Fu Girl” Riesling – Columbia Valley
KFG Riesling displays a clear pale lemon color.
Light bouquet with aromas of lime & some stone fruit.
On the palate it is off-dry >>>
(meaning not TOTALLY DRY or SUPER SWEET
as many Rieslings are accused of being…..)
KFG has a light to medium body with flavors of red apple, apricot & peaches.
It has a short but pleasant finish. Nice & crisp
Would pair wonderfully with most Asian dishes or anything SPICY!
It’s HOT to TROT. Buy some now & drink up!
