saw this on a car in the parking lot:

I thought, gee, what a clever mascot name.

When we were in High School we were called

the Mighty Midgets!! What a Lame Name!!

NOW they are called the PANTHERS —

I would have preferred that name

and this license plate —

BRBSHP 4 – what’s the meaning of this one?

DO they own 4 barber shops?

are they going to BRB?

made this yummy grain concoction –

exclusively from Traders Joe’s –

Harvest Grain Blend : it is a
savory blend of Couscous, Orzo,

Baby Garbanzo Beans & Red Quinoa.

it’s easy to make. boil broth add the grains & ten minutes later

you have a meal. You can add veggies or shrimp if you want.

Very Tasty – try it!!

It just happened last night…..

I saw it coming home form volleyball tonight. Sad 😦

whipped up a batch of vegetable fried rice tonight

& it was DELICIOUS.

It’s going on my menu at my restaurant.

“just breakfast & lunch” – that’s the name.

created this concoction that I learned about

while away skiing at Gore Mtn a couple weeks ago.

It is an easy over egg topped with

caramelized shallots, chorizo & peppadew peppers.

Saturday March 26th 2011 Cafe Blue Moose ~ dinner club

Tonight a group of us went to the Cafe Blue Moose.

It is a dinner club run by kids located in Buckingham –

about 15ish minutes from Ivyland.

ten of us went – $20 for 3 courses!

mashed potato croquettes

Skylar runs the show.

Later we found out my brother Raymond knows him

& his family. His brother Devon worked with

Raymond at his metal sculpting studio.

Found this guy hanging around. Cute 🙂

Split pea soup

with Homemade lavash cracker

(everything was DELICIOUS!)

Penne Pasta

in a Butternut squash sauce, sweet Italian sausage,

green beans, caramelized onions, and Parmesan.

Chicken Korma

~Cashew-braised chicken, garlic mashed potato, roasted broccoli

MOOSE salt & pepper shakers – of course!

3/26/11 church, shopping, flowers

3/26/11

we started our day at Olde Church of St Andrew

in Newtown, Pa ~ 20 minutes from Ivyland.

My friend Lynne’s Dad passed away & we attended services.

While at the church I visited my friend Marguerite’s mom.

It’s a really nice cemetery next to the church –

with a little babbling brook right next to it.

We stopped at my brother’s house to meet his

new family members but no one was home.

his birds have an ICE-SKATING ring!!!

when we got home I filled up all my bird feeders.

we get lots of these purple finches – they’re cute.

sister Pat & went shopping at Wegman’s –

a popular & BIG grocery store near us.

We also stopped at TASTE –

needed some white balsamic vinegar.

It is my secret ingredient when making

roasted peppers.

we found these little baby ice cream cones at Wegman’s.

They are totally cute!

our daffodils are BLOOMING!!!

they must not have gotten the memo from Mother Nature

that it was low 30’s today.

It was sunny so that was nice 🙂

our annual PLEA for people to PLEASE adopt a fish.

We have WAY too many & we need to give them away.

Do you or someone you know have goldfish needs?

Please let me know!!! We have an abundance of them!!

PULL OVER – duh!! He had lots of room to pass –

Went to see the movie Lincoln Lawyer tonight.

The movie was filled with twists & turns.

Tuesday 3/22/11

something was brewing in the city

a transformer blew & it was being repaired.

Havoc for the morning commute….

Hawks are invading the city —

they have an unlimited buffet of pigeons

for breakfast, lunch & dinner

Wasn’t thrilled with it. It was mostly about

storing & emailing pictures —

i know how to do that!

I need to learn HOW to take better photos.
