Michael was in town for Leadership Training at the COMCAST building.

After work we got together with Michael W. & Judith,

our friends from the bike club, who also work in the city.

In fact, Michael works IN my building but we have never

run into each other in our building.

We went to a bar/restaurant called TIME. It was cool!

Basement Update

3 weeks into the project…..Michael is still alive!

a light for in the shower.

it will be above the ceiling tiles

Ceiling tiles with lights —

I think there needs to be another light up there,

I don’t like how only 1/2 the tiles are lit.

what do you think??

Michael said it CANNOT be done, I think it can.

LUCKY ME — today I found a $1 on the sidewalk…

& it was heads up — woo hoo:)

can I tell you how much i LOVE the ceiling tiles???

LOVE THEM…. the basement is looking GOOD!

I hope Michael lives to see it.

awwww I got TY note in the mail with a lottery ticket!!

My friend saw how I always bragged about my KEURIG

machine & he bought one. SO I randomly sent him

a box of my favorite K-cups & in return he sent me

a super nice TY note AND a lottery ticket…..

Thank You Elton – you are too nice!!!!!!

*remember the key to “good coffee” (unless you drink it black)

is LIGHT CREAM not 1/2 & 1/2

tonight sister pat, friend Joyce & I went

to our favorite place Taormina’s and

got a Brooklyn Pie….and it was

DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!

paired the pizza with this Shiraz my boss

Harry gave me for Christmas

we don’t usually get dessert –but we did tonight!

I currently have 3 monitors on my desk at work

Chris our stellar IT guy putting together brackets

Now I have FOUR monitors & could probably use another…

Michael did more jackhammering for the plumber.

today they got some trim up & the

tracking for sliding doors installed

i like the trim – it’s all looking good!

– the newest book I am reading.

A friend recommended it & a few of my friends

read it & loved it — will let you know when I am finished.

It takes me awhile to read a book these days.

Too many distractions!

my friend Joyce accidentally left her phone at a play last night

& I volunteered to take a ride with her to recover it.

2/26/11 Open That Bottle Night (OTBN)

About a decade ago wine writers from the Wall Street Journal

declared the last Saturday in February: Open That Bottle Night.

The premise is for people to open THAT bottle you’ve been

saving for a special occasion…..

We’ve been celebrating OTBN for a awhile now….

Champagne to start, a white & a red b/c I never know what I am going

to order & I like to be prepared.

The red wine I bought a few years ago after a 50 mile bike ride.
