Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Of course if you read the other Harry Potter books you HAVE to read this one.
It took me a while to read this tome (784 pages) ……..Almost 2 months.
To me this says the book was a little drawn out.
I did enjoy the story and pleased with the ending as most people were
but I just felt it took too long to get to there.
I think some parts became predictable yet at the same time
others were quite suspenseful.
I don’t want to beat a dead horse & repeat what everyone else has said.
It was a good book & I’m glad I read it.
Like I said in the beginning….
If you’ve read all the other books then you need to read this one!

a brand new iPhone – it’s quite cool!!!!

I also got a nice Cabernet selection….

I love that Michael always gives me WINE!!

I’m so spoiled…..

I gave Michael a collection of beers.

He’s pretty tough to buy for, i do my best!

my co-worker Anna gave me this rose from the

bouquet her boyfriend sent her. Very Sweet 🙂

Do you or someone you know need an engagement ring??

this is a GREAT deal …..

The set was appraised for $3500 and my friend is asking $1250.

The center stone is a ½ carat diamond,

and the rest of the diamonds combined total 1.25 carats.

The bands are set in white gold.

Please let me know if you are interested ASAP.

I can’t imagine someone NOT snapping up this deal quickly!

Sunday 2/13/11 Sunday Shopping, basement

Sunday 2/13/11

danny went with us to the A T & T store

while i got my phone activated he

shopped for a new iPhone case

i stopped at this store hoping to find something for

Michael for a Valentine Day gift – even though

I’m not a big believer in that “holiday”…..

found NOTHING. dislike that store.

then I went to Whole Foods b/c they actually sell beer.

Also wine by the glass which is amazing b/c Pennsylvania

liquor laws have a reputation for being archaic. You

usually can only buy beer at a distributor & you have

to buy a case of the same thing.

they have this little lounge area where you can get

samplers of beer / wine & sit & relax.

I got “in trouble” for taking a picture!

NO PHOTOGRAPHY the store employee told me…

oops – Too late…..

The “real construction” on our basement starts Tuesday.

Jim will probably bring some materials in Monday

so they can start promptly. It will be interesting to

see the progress….

Saturday 2/12/11 Four Rivers Restaurant in Chinatown

My brother has been saying for a LONG TIME he wanted to go

to a Chinese restaurant IN Chinatown in center city Philadelphia.

SO I organized a family outing & off we went! I tend to be a DOER!

after doing homework i thought for our first venture

we would try FOUR RIVERS – it got 4 stars out of 48 reviews.

2/11/11 Beer tasting & dinner with friends!

My (grade school!) friend MARY invited us to a beer tasting

held where she lives at Blue Bell Country Club. These were not

your “normal” beers, actually they were quite abnormal

& very tasty if not more than that……….

All you beer geeks – look what we had the opportunity to drink,

and weep b/c you weren’t there with us!!

It was truly a special tasting!
