Every year near our house there is a Grange Fair- a 4H competition.
It’s pretty fun to go & see all the wares/events/animals/people!

Verdict: I was a little disappointed because I really wanted to LOVE this place.
We were there a few years ago (it was AWFUL) then it was closed for a couple years.
As I said we watched the renovations. It looked like a FUN place we could go
& have a casual meal & drink. We weren’t too impressed with our first visit –
but – they’ve only been open a couple months so we WILL go back
& give them another chance. The owner has a restaurant background –
so maybe they just need to work out some kinks in a new business?
The staff were all very friendly – that’s always good!

my son, is an EMT & volunteer firefighter.
Today he was an EMT at this scene.
Fortunately, no one was hurt!

We often bike past this house on Stony Hill Rd
(off Pineville) – I knew it immediately.
It’s maybe 10 miles from our house.
The house is pretty much a goner ….
can you imagine?? Certainly they had insurance?

easy to make.

Make parmesan rounds by heating freshly shredded
parmesan in the microwave. Put romaine leaves on plate.
Put on a dab of blue cheese dressing, sprinkle on some
bacon bits, top with parmesan rounds.
EAT! yum!

Out of the blue a friend from HIGH SCHOOL (
St Basil Academy)
sent an email & asked if I and a few other friends were available to meet her
in Center City Philadelphia. Jean & her husband both teach at Purdue University
(chemistry professors) & they live in Indiana. Maybe that’s WHY
we haven’t seen JEAN in 30 years? Of course we said YES we would
love to meet & do some catching up!!
