Today we embarked on a nice bike ride.
There’s friend Joyce leading our ride
in beautiful Bucks County

And boy scouts……

we rode 26.9 miles today.
A little more than a Marathon.

I had their famous Vodka Rigatoni & it was
Excellent as usual!! mmmm, leftovers!

I just aim to improve,
to be better than I was before.

after dinner we stopped at Little Brothers Beverage
which, for some reason, we Always call
LITTLE BEAR. that’s a cuter name……

My shoe BROKE, so it curtailed my shopping extravaganza.
the best part was that I forgot my credit card & Michael treat
me to whatever I wanted. $120 later – yeah!!!

4/6/13 Biking, Bacon, pig parker

We had A LOT of people on our ride –
I think about 20 people.

Ride leader Ellen – great job ELLEN!!!

Michael’s bike broke & we stopped to try fixing it.
These baby cows visited me on the side of the road.
they were so darn cute – they had fuzzy baby cow fur.

we only rode 10 miles due to our mechanical problem.
better than no miles!

we had the chance to stop at the Farmer’s Market in Stockton, NJ .
Girl scout cookies – STILL for sale, who knew?

Of course, it is WAY better in person than a picture
from a moving vehicle……

Michael bought this wine for me as a present for
getting the new job — woo hoo.
This wine is AWESOME, only 548 cases made.

We got the BEST BACON on the world at the Farmer’s market.

I cooked it all to make using it easier.

We got some rare beers at work today.
One to a customer……..

Another rare one I was able to get!

(yes, I will share!)

We had a Vodka tasting at work today.
our favorite was Tito’s.

Had a surprise visit from friend Erika —
Erika used to do the wine tastings at
Carrabba’s when they had them.

Why are cats allowed to get away with
stuff that dogs can’t??

Wouldn’t it be nice to see the future?********************************

I tried a new flavored coffee: Golden French Toast.

Two weeks notice – hoping I can finish earlier……

Time to Celebrate – New Ventures on the horizon!

After work I discovered this Hawk having dinner
on our neighbors lawn. I hope he wasn’t eating
a Bluebird!!!!

Went to the Churchville Inn with neighbors
Roman & Denise & Michael.
We all had a lot of catching up to do.

Had some “bad” food….. Truffle Fries.

Wednesday 4/3/13 gym, JOB, Pliny the Elder

First day at the gym this week — really!
I dislike that……

YAY!!! My official job offer that I accepted.
A REAL WINE job for Helen. How great is this??Remember, I will be selling wines to restaurants
so be sure to tell me if you know anyone that
owns/manages a restaurant.
Warm calls are always better than cold ones!

of course the day I accepted my new job I got a
letter requesting an interview from the
PA Liquor Board….. guess I won’t be needing
to go on that interview…..

We heard that the Pour House was tapping a
hard to find beer so neighbor Deb & I made our way there.

It was a bonus having John as our bartender.

First the Pliny tapping, then having John
as our bartender then meeting up with Burrages.
My Lucky Night!

our friend Joyce’s son came in & we had to stay.
Brian’s friend Dr Steve is a dentist –
maybe Deb can get a new job working with him??Fun was had by all.

He is my boss’s boss — needed his blessing.
So it seems I made the cut & received
a job offer. finally!!!someone has confidence in me &is giving me the chance to show

what I can do…. at least what I think I can do…..
