I was up Super Early today. 4:44 a.m.

Had a lot to do & wanted to catch up with

I usually do on Fridays.

40 years teaching. 40 years – WOW!!!

Way to go Pat 🙂

Michael got our Christmas lights working.

They were out all week while he was away.

I didn’t know how to fix them 😦

Tonight we went to the Publick House with friends

Roman & Denise — we had a coupon!!!

they just tapped this keg of MONGO.

mmmmmm

MONGO – we love this beer!

we all tried this special – (shared)

fried Crab Mac n Cheese —

needless to say – it was quite yummy!

We shared some Hot Buffalo Wings too

and shared an Artisanal Flatbread too –

it was quite tasty.

I was super busy at work today –

logged 6.4 miles.

That’s one thing I like about my job.

The physicality of it.

Michael came home from working in BUFFALO, NY

~ we shared an ENJOY BY beer –

we only have another week to drink them!

What SANTA does when you are sleeping!!

Michael brought me a wine from NY.

We’ll see how it is & report back to you!

12/12/12 HungerMan visits Broad Street Ministry

Today I was on a mission with HungerMan.

HungerMan collects donations at the

virtual Double D Diner & donates the money

to Food Banks/Pantries/Kitchens.

Tuesday 12/11/12 THE EXAM!!!!!!!!

studying

I debated whether to go to the gym or not.

Should I be studying instead??

I went to the gym & of course the whole class

I’m thinking about Champagne methods,

Rioja regions & Sherry production.

I left 15 minutes early & went home to study.

At this point my head hurts & I just want to

take the test & get it over with!

My test supplies.

#2 pencils, sharpener & eraser.

Cool sky going into the city.

I took the train so I could do some

last minute studying…..

MORE Last minute studying in the Lobby.

Everyone was “studied” out & as

ready as one could be!

the first portion of the exam was 2 blind tastings.

One White, One Red.

Then we had 50 Multiple choice questions.

A couple short answer questions.

Then FOUR 4 part essays that were a couple

pages each. The exam was 2 hours & 15 minutes.

I’m not sure I passed but I HOPE I do because

I really don’t want to take the test again.

Afterwards a few of when to ZAVINO to

celebrate being DONE!

Zavino was a fun little bar/restaurant –

I’m looking forward to going back.

started the day with the gym

even though I was tempted

to dive right into studying.

friend Joyce sent me this picture of her squirrel

Dogs don’t JUST SLEEP – they are multi-tasking

I pretty much think everyone should have a dog

and every dog should have someone.

quite content with it.

just shut down the study station.

I got about 9 hours studying accomplished today

with intermittent breaks. My heads hurts.

Now it’s time for a glass of wine.

I am striving to answer my essay questions simply.

at the Firehouse. A line out the door –
