I wanted to try out the bigger eyeglass frames

as that is more the style than the skinny frames

These weren’t too big or too small.

I’ll probably get these.

Met friend Mary at the Blue Dog Tavern.

We didn’t go in, just met there.

We were headed up to Saucon Valley

(about an hour drive) to visit friend Marguerite.

We’ve been friends since grade school.

Sunday Sept 30th 2012 Volunteer Ride, Ship’s Inn & Visit from Danny & Rachael

Sunday Sept 30th 2012

Today was the volunteer ride which occurs the week

before the Covered Bridge Ride.

We check the rode ensuring all the roads

are properly marked.

We were scouting the 30 mile flat ride.

I would have done a spin around the block

after biking we ate at the Ship’s Inn in

Milford, NJ – nearby where the ride starts

Danny stopped over to show us his new car.

It’s a Dodge Dart & it’s pretty cool!

9/29/12 Wine tasting, Surprise Party

today while in Stockton after painting the roads

we ran into Dick Phillips, owner of Phillips Fine Wines.

Dick invited us to the Annual Wine tasting

(compliments of him!!).

He has been instrumental in my job search.

there was entertainment….

A LOT of people —

There was A LOT of wine too & I would highly

recommend others to attend in the future.

I was so busy networking I didn’t get a

chance to take many pictures but all in all

it was a fruitful networking opportunity.

We were scheduled to paint the roads for our

Annual Bike Club Covered Bridge Ride

that is being held next weekend…..

We headed to New Hope for breakfast at Fred’s:

the private breakfast club we belong to.

I reported him to Joyce immediately!!!

I knew what I was ordering before I went to Fred’s.

The guy next to me had it when we were there last time.

Eggs benedict, a side of grilled veggies & a slice

of whole grain home-made toast, dry.

And I know what I am getting next time…..

the cleaning people left a bag of trash outside.

Naturally the dogs got into it……

I wasn’t really mad, more concerned than anything

bc there were CHICKEN BONES in the trash!!!

Chester got into the trash too……

our friend gave us a heads up that Union Jack’s

had Pliny the Elder on tap. It’s a rare beer to find,

so we headed over after I took Chester for a run.

today’s cancelled boot camp was uncancelled.

The only problem was that no one knew it was uncancelled.

Usually there are 30 people in class.

Today we had FIVE! Started late, of course.

You just have to DO IT……it’s not magic.
