Today I played volleyball with partner Diana
at Point Pleasant Beach, NJ.
Michael & 3 guys were biking down 100 miles
just to watch us play!
(well, that & mostly for the challenge of riding 100 miles!)

It started as a nice day at the beach.

Then a thunderstorm moved in
& we had to evacuate the beach.

Back on the beach it was a nice day…..
though clouds were looming & threateining to return…..

Back in the car for round 2 of the storm……

were holed up in a BARN while waiting
for one of the storms to pass…….
Michael & Greg dropped out of the
ride about 50 miles into it…..

Next weekend we are going for the GOLD!

Maybe I did, 30 years ago when
I was her age????
