5/16/11 Xrays for Helen & visiting Brother Larry

Chestx-ray
Had to get another round of X-rays as my
ribs are still HURTING.
The tech didn’t say anything was wrong with me.
I guess I’m still faking my injury.
I hope I will be able to play volleyball
this Saturday???
Larry
brother Larry is in the same hospital where i
get my X-rays so I went upstairs to visit him.
He might get discharged tomorrow – assuming they
can line up the nurses aids to help him
while he is home.

5/15/11 Men’s Chorus Group held at Highlands Mansion & Gardens

5/15/11

Every week I get an email called FUNSAVERS.
They offer discounts on a variety of events in & around Philadelphia.
Today Joyce & I went to a place called the Highlands Mansion & Gardens
To see the Orpheus Club of Philadelphia —
the oldest mens’ singing group in America.

Saturday May 14th 2011 Washington Crossing Brewfest

Today a group of us went to the First Brewfest held by 
Washington Crossing Park Society.

Friday the 13th, May 2011 hospital, bluebirds

tonight sister Pat & I visited brother Larry.
the next picture is kind of gross so you might just want
to skip it……

Larry’s leg – it is an open wound & the black you are seeing
is a sponge with drain tube.
They were suppose to do another surgery today
but they did a procedure in his room instead.
Larry would have rather been unconscious b/c
he said it was a 10 on the pain scale.

After the hospital we stopped at Taormina’s for a quick bite.

Thursday 5/12/11 BIKING!

In the summer – we bike on Thursday nights from the local park near our house.
Depending on Sunlight we ride between 15 – 25 miles.

the demolition at TEMPLE  is complete…
we saw it happen.
the building is now a pile of rubble.
Wonder if they are building something new there??

It’s called a NEUTON (http://www.neutonpower.com/)
Pat got a new one & has one to give away.
It uses a rechargeable battery. (comes with lawnmower)

They hatched Monday.
