Sadly, today was the last beach volleyball tournament of the season.
I felt like I didn’t play that much this year & wish the season was longer.
But I guess I did a lot of other “stuff” (activities) when I wasn’t playing
volleyball… Every ending has a beginning right?

Suzy has 3 little girls under the age of 5….
so she doesn’t have has much free time to play ball.

We came in third which is better than last time (5th).
We devised a winning formula for next season!!!

I didn’t need anything (prizes) so
I gave Suzy my points so she could get the cooler backpack.
The only stipulation was she had to get YELLOW (not the red one!).

Michael to the rescue — Suzy had car problems
but they were soon fixed!!

Michael was here because he rode his bike to the seashore as usual.
ONLY 97 miles this week – not his usual 100……

Chef Helen made a pasta dinner for us tonight.
Carbo loading for tomorrow’s tournament.
Made a puttanesca sauce – which was pretty salty
but darn tasty!!

brings the “lucky combos” – that is the ONLY TIME
we eat them – at tournaments.
I saw these in a vending machine Wednesday
& bought a bag to share with my partner

This tiny deer was delivered by Caesarean section
at a Wildlife hospital after a car killed his mother.
Little Rupert, who is so small he can fit in an adult’s hand,
was born after vets failed in their battle to save his mother.

At just 6″ tall and weighing just over a pound, he was put in an incubator
at the Wildlife Hospital in Buckinghamshire.

Tonight was the first meeting of the
Hatboro Beverages Master Craft Beer Club Meeting
after the summer break. It was held at the German Club
near our house: Vereinigung Erzgebirge.

Michael & I signed up for an EXCEL BASICS course at a local school.
I am using more Excel at work these days & figured I would learn for real what I
should be doing instead of faking it. I had EXCEL a dozen years ago
in school but haven’t really used it since then… I got an A in that class!
