3/31/15 gym, Huntingdon Valley Country Club, Blackfish for dinner

April 1, 2015

3/31/15

at the gym with neighbor Deb

We were going out to dinner tonight,
had to work off the calories before eating them

my first appointment was at
Huntingdon Valley Country Club

A little wine tasting

Also had the pleasure of meeting the new GM.
It was a joy working with this guy.
Ryan was nice, respectable, knowledgeable.
Just all around awesome.

Michael & I had dinner tonight @ Blackfish
with neighbor Deb & her friend Anthony.

No $5 Cheesesteaks here!

KUSSHI OYSTERS

CARBONATED MEYER LEMON, PINK PEPPERCORN, BRONZE FENNEL

these were amazing!

An amuse-bouche is a single, bite-sized hors d’œuvre.

Amuse-bouches are different from appetizers in that they are not ordered from a menu by patrons, but, when served, are done so free and according to the chef’s selection alone.

Amuse-bouche

The term is French,
literally translated as “mouth amuser”.

DAY BOAT SQUID

CITRUS, PICKLED CAULIFLOWER,
GOLDEN RAISIN ESCABECHE

Amazing

SLOW COOKED LANCASTER COUNTY CHICKEN

SMOKED APPLE BUTTER, BARLEY, KOHLRABI, CIPOLLINI ONION

I never order chicken out & rarely even eat it.
This was probably the best chicken I ever ate in my life.

COFFEE CRÈME BRULEE

We needed a better picture!
